Meet your planner!
Hello everyone, my name is Amanda Smick! I am the owner and founder of East Coast Creative- Weddings and Events! I am so happy to be sharing a little bit of my passion with you.
A little bit about myself:
I was born and raised in Central Massachusetts where I have been planning events ever since I can remember. From a young age I would always plan my own birthday parties, most a little more extravagant than my parents probably had a liking for. Who would have thought that the fun passion I had as a child would turn into my dream career!
Although Massachusetts will always be considered home (and a place to visit when it's not snowing), South Carolina has always called my name. With many years of planning experience in both Massachusetts and Charleston I can honestly say I am confident this is what I am supposed to be doing! I pride myself in having great relationships both with clients and vendors here in the Charleston area. Bringing your vision to life is my top priority and finding the best vendor team to make that happen is essential! No two weddings or events are alike, and for that reason I love to personalize every aspect of the event to the specific couple or client. I also am all for advocating for my couples and always doing all I can to make your vision come to life, whether it is something you have in mind or something we create together!
Planning Packages
Partial Planning
-Initial lead call to discuss vendors booked (if any), budget, aesthetic of wedding and scope of planning packages.
-A custom design board based on provided inspiration and or/Pinterest board. Vendor recommendations. In this package, East Coast Creative will recommend ALL vendors to the client that fit their budget/aesthetic. Once agreed upon a vendor, The client must obtain the contract themselves and communicate with vendors up until one month before the wedding.
-Budget meeting as well as basic budget tracking
-2 venue walkthroughs
-Tasting Attendance
-Minute by minute timeline creation
-Personal item suggestions and management
-1 hour wedding rehearsal
-Full coordination on wedding day from set up to break down
Full Service Planning
-Initial lead call to discuss vendors booked (if any), budget, aesthetic of wedding and scope of planning packages.
-A custom design board based on provided inspiration and or/Pinterest board.
-Vendor recommendations. In this package, East Coast Creative will recommend ALL vendors to the client that fit their budget/aesthetic. Once agreed upon a vendor, East Coast Creative will obtain ALL contracts, forward them to the client to sign and submit payment and then return them to the vendor. Therefore taking over as much vendor communication for the client as possible.
-Budget meeting as well as budget tracking and payment schedule creation.
-3 venue walkthroughs
-RSVP collection and tracking
-Tasting Attendance
-Minute by minute timeline creation
-Personal item suggestions and management
-1 hour wedding rehearsal
-Full coordination on wedding day from set up to break down

MAIN LOCATION
The main area I service and have expertise in is Charleston, SC! However, I am always up for an adventure and am available for travel upon request! Travel fees will vary depending on destination location.
